TEXAS BULLDOGS
PLAYER PROFILE

# 22 - RB - Jarvis Thrasher
Jarvis had a remarkable college career playing for 4 years at Mary-Hardin Baylor in Temple. In all Jarvis rushed for over 3,000 yards, and holds the American Southwest Conference single game rushing record when he rushed for 324 yards on just 12 carries!
Jarvis joined the Bulldogs for the 2009 season. Jarvis was electrifying in the backfield last season and ignited a spark in the offense. "He was a threat to take it to the house, every time he touched the ball", says offensive coordinator Coach Hill. Jarvis averaged over 4 yards a carry for the Bulldogs in 2009 and had multiple long distance touchdown runs of over 60 yards. In one game he had touchdowns of 64, 80, and 72 - just an outstanding back.
This year Jarvis attended the CFL combine in hopes of fulfilling his dream of getting to the next level. Jarvis should be there for a while - "I really don't know how he is not in the NFL - he is that caliber of a back. He deserves to be playing on Sundays. He carries himself as a professional both on and off the field. A lot of players at the semi-pro level can learn alot about character and what it means to be a professional from him."_Coach Hill (Offensive Coordinator, Texas Bulldogs)
